Broward County – Assistant Chief Resilience Officer 

The assistant chief resilience officer will serve as a technical lead and directly support the county’s chief resilience officer in administration of the Resilience Unit and advancement of resilience efforts as part of internal, county-wide and regional collaborations focused on holistic climate mitigation and adaptation, innovation, and partnerships.

Broward County – Environmental Program Supervisor – Climate Resilience Unit

The environmental program supervisor will play a lead technical and coordinating role in supporting the development and implementation of a county-wide resilience plan addressing future conditions including flooding, heat, and redevelopment strategies, in addition to engagement in broader resilience efforts.

West Palm Beach – Sustainability Program Assistant

Generally helps with all set up/breakdown of events/programs, gathers and distributes conservation giveaways, maintains inventory, maintains program tracking, assists with data input for portfolio manager and HET (High Efficiency Toilet ) voucher program, assists with tree nursery upkeep, helps load trees and rain barrels for give away, assists with program implementation. Requires routine (but not weekly) weekend scheduling.

West Palm Beach – Sustainability Program Coordinator: tree canopy/green infrastructure 

Focus areas include: tree canopy assessment, mapping, benchmarking and improvement; WPB 10,000 Tree Give Away Program coordination/implementation; neighborhood street tree assistance and permitting; green infrastructure contractor and maintenance monitoring; green infrastructure and tree canopy policy development; rain barrel program coordination/implementation; landscape water conservation to include Florida Friendly planting, fertilizer reduction for water quality improvement and high efficiency irrigation education; home efficiency program (water/energy) program coordination/implementation. Routinely interacts with residents, neighborhood associations, businesses, landscape professionals and city departments. Provides education and instruction to community groups and participates in evening and weekend outreach as required. Assists with other sustainability initiatives and programming. Requires routine (but not weekly) weekend scheduling.

West Palm Beach – Sustainability Program Coordinator

Under general supervision, provides support for the city of West Palm Beach sustainability initiative; coordinates and implements programs related to the following: carbon footprint reduction, energy efficiency, water conservation, green model home, green job training programs, green building principles, transportation, environmentally preferable purchasing and other sustainable/conservation subjects; program management and metrics; curriculum development for public outreach; public education; business workshops; Works with all city departments to implement the Rethink Paradise Resilience Plan, updates the LEED for Cities Certification, completes CDP and Portfolio Management programs, works to increase electric vehicle adoption and EV infrastructure deployment, assists with grant project development and performs related duties as assigned. Requires some weekend scheduling.
