Southeast Florida Regional Climate Action Plan Open Session
April 27, 2017 @ 10:00 am - 7:30 pm
The Southeast Florida Regional Climate Change Compact invites you to help shape Southeast Florida’s Regional Climate Action Plan (RCAP) during next week’s public comment session.
Since 2012, the RCAP has unified the municipalities and counties of Southeast Florida in their efforts to address sea level rise and meet the region’s climate challenges. With your help, the Compact hopes to strengthen and improve this tool so it can continue to serve the residents of Southeast Florida.
You’re invited to the attend our open session on April 27, the first event of an intensive public process to update the RCAP. RSVP today to help ensure the plan is modified in ways relevant and valuable to all communities in the region. This session is open throughout the day, so drop by when you can for as long as you’d like.
- Offer your feedback and comments on the first draft of the RCAP 2.0 online, now through May 12.
- Sign up here to receive email updates about the next round of public comments on the second draft of the RCAP, coming this summer.
- Check out the timeline for the RCAP 2.0 revision process, culminating in the presentation of the final RCAP 2.0 at the 9th Annual Southeast Florida Regional Climate Leadership Summit held December 14-15, 2017.
